Each psychologist on our team has specialized areas of treatment, and treatment works best when you have a good relationship with your provider. Information obtained during your initial call is reviewed by our team to determine which provider and form of treatment is the best fit.

We are located at 70 East 91st Street in Indianapolis on the northeast corner of 91st and Meridian streets, just off 465, in the 9100 Meridian Square Office complex.

Yes! There will be occasions, however, when your provider may require face-to-face appointments.

Before a treatment plan is prepared, a 60- to 90-minute intake appointment is scheduled. Intake appointments are longer than most therapy appointments, and cost $300 - $350 (dependent on your provider's experience and qualifications).

If you have health insurance, your plan may include behavioral/mental health benefits. If behavioral/mental health is covered, call the toll-free member number on the back of your insurance card before scheduling an appointment and ask:

• Can I see an out-of-network provider?
• Do I need prior authorization?
• Are there any exclusions for specific diagnoses or services?
• Is there a separate deductible for out-of-network?

While we are not in-network with most health plans, we can courtesy file insurance claims for paid services on your behalf. Filing insurance claims does not guarantee reimbursement for any services. If you have any questions about coverage or reimbursement, consult your insurance plan's benefits documentation or call the member services number on the back of your card.

For specialized services such as DBT, you may want to request that your insurance company approve a Single Case Agreement (also known as a Single Case Exception). A Single Case Agreement (SCA) allows an out-of-network provider to be paid as if they were in-network. Contact your insurance company and ask for a list of outpatient comprehensive DBT-LBC (DBT-Linehan Board of Certification) providers and programs in your insurance network. If none are available, ask them for an SCA with Woodview Psychology Group. You will need to let them know why you need DBT treatment (including previous diagnoses and current symptoms of severe emotional and behavioral dysregulation such as self-harm, suicidal behavior and thoughts, and psychiatric hospitalizations). Information from Woodview Psychology Group may also be required for the request. Please note that the process of obtaining an SCA varies among insurance companies and your initial request may be denied; your next step would be to follow the appeals process that your insurance company has in place. It is important to remember that an SCA must be approved and in place before DBT treatment begins, and you will be required to pay the full fee for services to Woodview and submit a claim to receive reimbursement. We can assist with courtesy filing claims with your insurance company.
